Charis and Sebastian are one of the sweetest couples I have had the pleasure of working with! They celebrated their marriage with family and friends in July this year, and it was my great honour to be able to make their very special wedding cake.
A big thank you to their amazing photographer, Shane Shepherd, for permission to share these two gorgeous images of the wedding cake!
Each of the four tiers was made in a dark chocolate mud cake, free from gluten, dairy, peanuts and tree nuts. Piped embroidery scallops around the edges added edible decoration to the cake, which was finished so beautifully by fresh flowers from Eumundi Roses!
It was very exciting to see the finished cake set up at Charis & Sebastian’s reception space at Aussie World on the Sunshine Coast! The cake sat upon on a lovely old wine barrel placed in the middle of the room to create a beautiful and delicious centrepiece.
To the wonderful Charis & Sebastian – thank you so very much for allowing me to create your wedding cake! It was a joy to work with you both. I wish you nothing but the very best in life and in each other! Congratulations again on your wedding day and the start of your beautiful marriage!
