With their motto, ‘Be a Purple Cow’, and their catch phrase, ‘It’s ok to be different’, registered charity NF Sunshine Coast was created to raise awareness and offer support to people living with neurofibromatosis.
Not sure what Neurofibromatosis is? Neither was I until Tracey & Deb from NF Sunshine Coast contacted me earlier this year. You can learn more about the meaning of their motto and neurofibromatosis itself on their website: http://www.nfsunshinecoast.com.au/
Tracey & Deb have included some of my purple candy Easter eggs in their 2014 Easter Hamper, along with a gorgeous plush bunny. Raffle tickets are $1 each, with proceeds going towards allowing NF Sunshine Coast to continue to offer support and raise awareness of neurofibromatosis.
It may be difficult to tell from the photograph below, but these eggs are quite large (and difficult to photograph for an amateur like myself)! Pictured below are a Candy Jumbo Egg and Large Candy Basket, filled by special arrangement with 5 purple Miniature Candy Eggs.
Here’s a look at the actual hamper with the lovely plush bunny, which is included in the prize: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=472658546194461&set=a.388351464625170.1073741828.175573265902992&type=3&theater
