Belinda & Edward were married at the Hervey Bay Historical Village and Museum on a sunny spring day last year. Their reception followed immediately after the ceremony, where guests were treated to a refreshing array of cool drinks, and of course…cake!
Refreshing flavours of lime & coconut cake, and carrot cake made up the three tiers, which were all covered with my white chocolate buttercream. A textured finish to the buttercream was complemented by fresh flowers, and a silver plateau cake stand to finish off the design and overall look.
While setting up I had the pleasure of meeting Janenne from Special Buick Weddings, who provided the transportation for the day. We admired the wonderful work done in creating such a beautiful setting – including the impressive door frame around the cake display, as you can see below:
Belinda was such a joy to work with as we talked via phone and email to finalise the details of her & Edward’s buttercream wedding cake! To Belinda & Edward – congratulations and thank you for choosing Bonnie’s Cakes & Kandies to make your wedding cake! All the very best to you both for many more beautiful, sunny days ahead!
