Jess & Rob were married in winter this year at Topiaries at Beaumont overlooking the Samford Valley, just north of Brisbane. It was my great honour and privilege to not only make their wedding cake, but also to attend the ceremony to see these two become husband and wife.
Ethereal Photography captured precious moments from the day, and have put together a gorgeous blog post. Click here to see stunning Jess, handsome Rob, a whole lot of love, and of course, a few amazing photos of their cake!
The top tier of their cake was caramel mud, with dark chocolate mud cake for the bottom. A thin scraping of buttercream took the cake from naked to semi-naked, with baby’s breath and natives, plus delicious caramel drips adding a finishing touch. The cake was displayed on my wooden slab cake board and looked amazing with a topper by Indigo Bark proudly announcing the new, ‘Mr & Mrs Lyon’.
Thank you Jess & Rob. It was my pleasure to make your cake, and an honour to watch you say your vows and become husband and wife!
