All you need is love…and dessert

Gorgeous Lauren and Jordan were married in May last year. Despite some serious wet weather in the lead up to their wedding day, their families worked together to create a beautiful reception space, with lots of lovely, personalised touches. The cake took its place among other yummy treats at the dessert table, and the lovely bride and groom kindly sent me some photos from Amy Hinks Photography to share.

Three tiers = three delicious flavours of cake! The bride and groom chose lime and coconut for the top tier, white chocolate and raspberry mud for the middle tier, and a dark double chocolate mud cake for the bottom tier. Lauren found a sweet little cake topper which added yet another personal touch to their day, and the rustic look of the hessian wrap and flowers on the cake matched in very nicely with the timber slab provided for the cake to sit on.
