Last year my gorgeous niece Alesha married her lovely husband Phill in front of a small group of family and friends in the Noosa Hinterland. It was such a beautiful day, and I was thrilled to not only attend, but of course to make their wedding cake. I’m really happy to share some photos courtesy of Charmaine Otto Photography!

Alesha and Phill chose white chocolate and raspberry mud cake, and carrot cake as their flavours. I also made some vegan cup cakes in carrot cake to cater for all guests, and like everything from Bonnie’s Cakes and Kandies, these were all gluten free.

The fresh flowers on the cake were supplied by Diana Simon Designer Florist, and their venue, The Barn Cooroibah, looked even more beautiful with styling by Sunshine Weddings.

In what was a challenging year for everyone, it has been so wonderful to be able to work with my clients who chose to get married in 2020, however different that may have looked to their original plans thanks to the effects of the pandemic. Alesha & Phill’s wedding was such a joyful occasion to be a part of, and it truly was a pleasure to both attend, and to create their wedding cake.
Alesha and Phill – all the very best to you both for all of the happy years ahead!
