Congratulations to Amanda & Dion who were recently married at the Gympie Conference Centre! Before setting up their cake at the venue, I had the pleasure of meeting a good friend of their family, Therese, who had organised for me to make Amanda & Dion’s cake.
Covered in my white chocolate buttercream icing, guests enjoyed a choice of two flavours, with the bottom tier made in banana cake, and the top tier vanilla sponge.
I love how the royal blue ribbon contrasted nicely with the soft colours of the icing flower blossoms arranged at the front of the cake. The style and arrangement of the flowers was inspired by a cake I made earlier this year, with the colours altered to suit Amanda & Dion’s spring theme.
