Lorrae and Adam were married on a beautiful autumn day at Novotel Twin Waters Resort on the Sunshine Coast, and it was my absolute pleasure to be involved. I was so excited and grateful to receive some absolutely amazing images from their photographer Tara of Tara Lee Photography, and it is with permission and joy that I share them below!
The gorgeous couple chose a gluten free cutting cake and cupcake tower. With chocolate fudge cake chosen for the cutting cake, vanilla sponge was the perfect choice for the style of Adam & Lorrae’s cupcakes. I adore the old fashioned, bakery style butterfly cupcakes and love how this display all came together.
Small purple blossoms were created to match as closely as possible to the purple colour that you can see in Adam’s tie in the photograph above. For extra impact, I dusted each blossom with pearl lustre dust, and then piped a small ivory centre into each. You can see in Tara’s beautiful photos that these little ivory centres, despite being a very small detail, just help to finish off the blossoms.

Creating a cake for such an important celebration is truly an honour. It is so lovely to see Lorrae and Adam’s love and happiness shining through in these photos, and I wish them all the very best!
