Bonnie’s Cakes & Kandies operates from a completely gluten free commercial kitchen.
I take great joy in creating cakes and confectionery that everyone can enjoy. Both I, one of my daughters and some of my additional family members require special diets. Providing cakes to cater for food allergies, intolerances and dietary preferences is something I take very seriously.
I am particularly pleased to have been able to work with a mother to create a birthday cake for her young son with Prada-Willi Syndrome, which required strictly less than 10% fat and sugar. I also regularly fill orders for many gluten free cakes and cheesecakes, and my candy Easter eggs and lollipops are all gluten-free and dairy-free. I know that ‘gluten-free’ doesn’t mean ‘taste-free’, and is about so much more than just substituting flours.
I have created cakes to cater for a number of different dietary requirements including:-

- Vanilla sensitivity
