Amy & Duncan recently celebrated their engagement with family and friends at the beautiful Twin Waters Golf Club! It was my pleasure to make their engagement cake – let’s take a look below…
The happy couple supplied the, ‘Engaged’ cake topper. Doesn’t it look wonderful in the way it frames the whole cake! I made a large pink peony for the top tier, and arranged three little peony buds behind the main flower. Two small, green leaves added a hint of extra colour and finished off the design nicely.
For the flavours, Amy & Duncan chose lime and coconut for the top tier of the cake, with a subtle, lime flavoured white chocolate buttercream filling. The bottom tier flavour was white chocolate mud with raspberry white chocolate buttercream filling. Both are very popular flavour choices, and a great combination of two different, yet complimentary flavours for guests to enjoy.
