Fresh fruit and chocolate…is there a better combination when it comes to cake?

Rich dark chocolate, accompanied by the sweet smell of ripe, juicy strawberries filled my kitchen as I covered and decorated this half slab dark chocolate mud cake for Jeff’s 50^th birthday celebration earlier this year. I’m happy to say that despite the temptation to eat it all myself and bake another, this cake did make it safely to the party!
